Associate Director, has been with Thread Dance Theater since the company's inception. She initially trained in ballet, primarily with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She attended Williams College, where she was part of the Williams Dance Company and Kusika, the Williams African dance ensemble, and also performed with the Albany Berkshire Ballet.
She graduated from Williams in 1995 with a Hutchinson Fellowship in fine arts, which she used to spend a year in Barcelona, Spain. She then danced with the Arthur Hall International Dance Ensemble in Camden, Maine, Hojarasca Danza Teatro in Burgos, Spain, and the Contemporary American Theater Festival Dance Ensemble in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. She is now a Durham resident, where she choreographs and dances with Choreo Collective and also dances with Independent Dancemakers, NickWalk Dance Project and Niki Juralewicz. She is the site coordinator for The Field NC and is active in efforts to support the dance community in North Carolina through the Triangle Dance Forum and the North Carolina Dance Alliance.
